Dr Melissa Taylor
Director / Clinical and Forensic Psychologist
Dr Taylor is a clinical and forensic psychologist and founded Taylored Psychology in 2011.
Dr Taylor is registered to practice psychology with the Psychology Board of Australia (PBA) and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the Society’s Colleges of Clinical Psychologists and Forensic Psychologists. She is also a Psychology Board of Australia Approved Supervisor in both clinical and forensic psychology.
Dr Taylor has nearly three decades of experience as a psychologist in the public, private and educational sectors across Australia and overseas, in clinical, forensic, management and leadership roles, including multiple Principal Psychologist roles, and as a Principal Advisor for the APS Professional Advisory Service. Having an Economics Degree has been vital in non-clinical roles and private practice management.
Dr Taylor is available to provide supervision to psychologists in areas including private practice management, Areas of Practice Endorsement (clinical and forensic), as well as ethical and professional practice including adherence to the Code of Ethics, Medicare compliance, PBA standards and guidelines, and AHPRA regulations.
Julie Rawsthorne
Clinical Psychologist
Julie completed a Master’s Degree in clinical psychology in South Africa. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and the Society’s College of Clinical Psychologists. She is registered to practice psychology with the Psychology Board of Australia (PBA), and is a Psychology Board of Australia Approved Supervisor in clinical psychology.
Julie brings extensive training, a rich life experience, and over 20 years’ experience as a psychologist to her work with adults and couples. She greatly values the role of the therapeutic relationship and has an authentic, compassionate, down-to-earth therapeutic style. She is passionate about working collaboratively with clients to increase their awareness and understanding of themselves, to transform their emotions, to change their outdated patterns to overcome difficulties, and to create new meanings. She works from systemic and attachment frameworks using interventions from a variety of therapies including somatic approaches, neuropsychotherapy, cognitive behaviour, schema, emotionally-focused, and acceptance & commitment therapy, tailoring treatment to a client’s individual needs and goals.
Julie has operated a private practice in South Africa where she also lectured psychology students and provided training on a range of topics to business managers and employees as well as cancer sufferers and their families. She has also worked in various multi-disciplinary settings.
Julie has extensive experience in working with a variety of clients and presenting problems including – but not limited to – life transitions and adjustment, relationships, mood disorders, grief and loss, trauma, parenting concerns and personality difficulties. She has a special interest in interpersonal (complex) trauma across the lifespan and providing therapy to resolve the significant – and often devastating- impacts of complex trauma.
Magdelena Hennig
Clinical Psychologist
Magdalena completed a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of South Australia, and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Magdalena is registered to practice psychology with the Psychology Board of Australia (PBA), and is a registered Medicare provider. Magdalena has experience in a variety of health settings including hospitals, private practice and vocational rehabilitation services.
She has experience in the areas of depression, anxiety, substance abuse, personality disorders, stress, grief and loss, as well as pregnancy related concerns.
Magdalena incorporates Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy in management and treatment. She speaks fluent Polish, and enjoys working with people from diverse backgrounds and ages including children, adolescents, adults and older adults.
Abby McCann
Clinical Psychologist
Abby is a Clinical Psychologist. She values providing a warm and empathetic approach to a range of presenting psychological difficulties, and works with clients to increase their understanding of themselves as a foundation for making adaptive changes in service of their values and personal goals.
Abby works with people through face to face, or if appropriate, telehealth appointments. She’s studied in South Australia and Queensland and has worked in hospital and community mental health teams and private practice settings. She has pursued further training in areas of interest, including perinatal mental health and trauma.
Abby has a special interest in assisting parents adjusting to the transition to early parenthood, and with the varying challenges that can present during the perinatal period. Abby enjoys working with parents from the period of conception, up to when their child is 3 years of age. She recognises that pregnancy and early parenthood is a time of change for the whole family, and she enjoys supporting both mothers and fathers through the difficulties of this unique journey. This can include working with parents who are struggling with mental health difficulties, distress related to pregnancy and birth, adjusting and transitioning to the role of being parents, as well as those affected by pregnancy loss.
Abby has experience working with parents on difficulties related to attachment relationships, perinatal anxiety and depression, adjustment to parenthood, pre and postnatal distress, and grief regarding perinatal loss. She provides a safe and empathetic environment in which to assist parents to explore both what is working well, as well as the challenges during this unique journey, and assists with the development of coping skills and strategies to address presenting difficulties. She aims to work collaboratively with parents to navigate the unique stressors of the perinatal period, and to explore ways of achieving a connected, attuned, secure and loving bond with their babies and young children.
Trisha Baldacchino
Clinical Psychologist
Trisha completed a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of South Australia in 1999 having also studied at Flinders University of South Australia and The University of Adelaide. She is registered as a psychologist with clinical endorsement with the Psychology board of Australia, Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and is also a member of the Australian Psychological Society Clinical College. She is a clinical psychology provider with Medicare. She has undergone additional training in cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, motivational interviewing and emotionally intelligent parenting.
Trisha is a clinical psychologist with over 18 years’ experience within the Commonwealth Public Service providing assessment and short term intervention for clients from a broad range of backgrounds facing life changes including unemployment, permanent disability, transition to work, withdrawal from work force as well as significant barriers in their life including social, legal, learning, substance issues, physical health concerns and/or psychiatric difficulties in need of general life direction. She also has extensive experience assessing and identifying learning and intellectual issues in both children and adults, having conducted several assessments in private, school and government settings. She has provided professional clinical psychology opinion regarding diagnosis, treatment and prognosis for a range of psychological conditions. She always strives to be the best she can be, having been awarded for outstanding achievement during her study and has a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Trisha is open, non-judgmental, and focused on developing a trusting and comfortable therapeutic relationship with her clients. She likes to share in psychoeducation, believing that knowledge and understanding on one’s current difficulties, symptoms and barriers provides a foundation for change and is a first step in striving to a life closer to one’s values. She is very outcome focused and draws on various therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness and schema therapy to provide skill-based interventions. Trisha ensures that clients can develop their own skills to utilize in between sessions and apply to life, however is also very adaptable, compassionate and flexible and will go at a pace appropriate for each client.
Ashleigh Stodden

Ashleigh is a clinical psychologist who has experience working in rural and remote, regional, and metropolitan settings. Ashleigh completed her Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and Master of Psychology (Clinical) at James Cook University in Townsville, Queensland. Ashleigh is registered to practice psychology with the Psychology Board of Australia (PBA) and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
Ashleigh has an interest and passion in supporting individuals to overcome challenges and to live a more rewarding and fulfilling life. Ashleigh is passionate about supporting clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress and burnout, perfectionism, adjustment to life changes, anger and aggression, substance abuse, self-harm and suicidal behaviour, relationship difficulties, and trauma.
Ashleigh understands that reaching out for help can often feel incredibly overwhelming. Ashleigh brings a collaborative approach to the therapeutic relationship, believing that the client is the expert in their own life; Ashleigh merely brings the skills and expertise to support her clients through the challenges they face. Her warm and compassionate demeanour will allow you to feel safe, comfortable, and heard.
Ashleigh draws on therapeutic techniques such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), while tailoring each approach to your individual needs, strengths, and abilities.

Van is registered to practice psychology with the Psychology Board of Australia (PBA) and is currently completing her Clinical Registrar program. She has worked with individuals across the lifespan in both the public and private health sector.
Van takes a curious and compassionate approach to therapy and enjoys helping clients cultivate a life that feels purposeful and authentic. She is committed to working collaboratively with clients so that they may feel empowered to overcome challenges, develop their strengths and make meaningful change.
Van has experience working across a wide range of mental health difficulties including: depression and mood disorders, anxiety disorders, adjustment to life transitions and chronic stress. She is also skilled in supporting individuals and loved ones who are managing chronic health issues. Guided by her clients’ goals and preferences, Van draws from a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindful Self-Compassion practices.
Evan Dunnicliff
Psychologist
Evan’s therapeutic approach is based upon Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), but also incorporates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, Schema Therapy, and Narrative Therapy.
Evan completed his Bachelor of Social Science at Bond University, and his Honours degree at the University of South Australia. Evan is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and is a registered Medicare provider.
Megan Cant
Clinical Psychologist
Megan is a Clinical Psychologist and has completed a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) degree at Flinders University followed by a Master of Psychology (Clinical) degree at The University of Adelaide. Megan is registered to practice psychology under the Psychology Board of Australia and is also a registered Medicare provider.
Megan’s therapeutic approach is warm and compassionate, and focused on building a strong therapeutic relationship with her clients to support them to reach their personal goals. Megan is passionate about helping clients to develop insight into their present difficulties, and drawing upon existing strengths as well as providing helpful coping skills to improve psychological wellbeing.
Megan utilises Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and also draws upon therapeutic strategies of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, and Compassion Focused Therapy. Megan has experience treating adults and adolescents with varying mental health presentations including: depression, anxiety-related disorders, panic disorder, grief, adjustment disorder, perfectionism, sleep and stress.
Schae Matthews
Clinical Psychologist
Schae is a Clinical Psychologist who is passionate about supporting her clients to meet their full potential. Her therapeutic approach is empathic, compassionate and guiding. She works with her clients to build awareness and skills in addressing several mental health concerns. These include depression, anxiety, stress, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), self-esteem issues, adjustment difficulties, and perfectionism. Schae has experience working with children, adolescent and adult clients, and has a special interest in the issues that affect the mental health and emotional wellbeing of women.
Schae’s therapeutic approach is informed by Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Strength Based, Solution Focused Therapy. Schae is also experienced in the application of attachment theory to clinical practice and is trained in attachment-focused interventions. She works to provide evidence-based therapy that is informed by her clients’ unique needs and goals.

Kelly Schuppan
Clinical Psychologist
Kelly works with a range of child, adolescent, and adult populations, with experience in Autism Spectrum Disorder as well as general mental health, including depression, anxiety, substance use, and trauma. While she primarily utilises Cognitive Behavioural and Cognitive Processing approaches, she is passionate about providing person-centred therapy which is tailored to client needs. Kelly engages with clients in a compassionate manner to identify their personal goals and enjoys providing clients with guidance and strategies that they can use in their everyday life.
Tegan Star
Health Psychologist & clinical hypnotherapist
Tegan completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) degree at Flinders University and a Master of Psychology (Health) at The University of Adelaide. Tegan is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia, Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and is a registered Medicare Provider.
Tegan primarily uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT,) Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Motivational Interviewing. She also values providing psycho-education about mental health and the mind-body connection to further support therapy. She is also happy to tailor the therapeutic approach to suit individual client needs.
Tegan is also a Clinical Hypnotherapist and has completed post graduate training in clinical hypnotherapy with the South Australian Society of Hypnosis. She is able to offer hypnotherapy to help with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, phobias and pain management.

Brianna Morante
Clinical Psychologist
Brianna is a down-to-earth, considerate practitioner who values supporting people to navigate difficult personal circumstances, build self-awareness, develop helpful coping strategies for uncomfortable emotions/thoughts, and move toward improved quality of life. She prioritises using the therapeutic relationship to help people build the confidence for desired change.
Brianna has experience working with a range of presentations including depression, specific phobias, social anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, excessive worry, grief, stress, adjustment to life transitions, managing chronic pain or other chronic health conditions, and sleep issues. Brianna is also trained to provide pre-surgical psychological screenings for people undergoing particular procedures including neurostimulation/spinal cord stimulator surgery.
Depending on people’s needs and preferences, Brianna’s therapeutic approach is informed by Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Schema Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Emotion-Focused Therapy.

Elizabeta is a Registered Psychologist dedicated to creating a welcoming, comfortable, and empathetic environment for her clients. She understands the vulnerability involved in sharing personal experiences and prioritizes building strong, trusting therapeutic relationships that make clients feel safe and supported.
Elizabeta has worked with individuals facing anxiety disorders, depression, adjustment difficulties, work and life stress, and self-compassion challenges. She takes a gentle, compassionate approach, tailoring her therapeutic work to fit each client’s unique needs and circumstances.
Her therapeutic practice includes Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and motivational interviewing. She also believes in the power of psychoeducation to help clients reach their desired state of psychological well-being. Elizabeta works with both adolescents and adults.

Brittany is a clinical psychologist who obtained her undergraduate and honours program from the University of South Australia and Master of Clinical Psychology from the Australian Catholic University in Queensland. Brittany is registered to practice psychology with the Psychology Board of Australia (PBA) and is a registered Medicare provider.
Brittany works from a client–centred approach where the client is at the forefront of treatment and believes that their work together should be a collaborative approach. Brittany provides a non-judgemental and empathetic environment; she also enjoys a good joke when appropriate. Brittany utilises evidenced based and trauma informed approaches to therapy and incorporates aspects of cognitive behavioural therapy CBT), acceptance and commitment (ACT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), and schema therapy.
Brittany works with a wide range of adolescent and adult populations and has experience working with depression, anxiety and anxiety related disorders, such as OCD and PTSD, substance use, eating disorders, and trauma. Brittany previously worked in inpatient wards on the Gold Coast and has knowledge of the hospital systems and experience with risk assessment and safety planning in high-risk settings.

Anna is a Clinical Psychologist and completed her undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Psychology at James Cook University in Townsville, North Queensland. Anna is registered to practice psychology with the Psychology Board of Australia (PBA), is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), and is also a registered Medicare provider.
Anna considers the relationship between a therapist and client to be fundamental to achieving positive outcomes, and brings a warm, genuine, and caring style to the therapy space. Anna supports her clients to gain a deeper understanding of self and to develop skills that assist them to thrive in the face of challenges. Anna adopts a proactive, goal-focused therapy style and enjoys working with clients collaboratively to achieve their personal goals. Anna has worked with a range of clients experiencing different social, cognitive, emotional, and neuro-developmental challenges such as anxiety, stress, interpersonal challenges, depression, trauma, PTSD and BPD.
Anna strongly believes in using evidence-based approaches in her practice. Michael Harper

Michael is a clinical psychologist who is passionate about genuinely connecting with individuals with a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental approach. Michael strongly believes that individuals are the experts of their own lives. As such, he works together with clients to reach their therapeutic goals in a trusting and supportive environment.
Michael uses a range of evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness-based approaches. Michael works with individuals to tailor therapy to address their specific goals, build upon strengths, and develop strategies to allow individuals to reach their full potential. Michael is an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). He has worked within several different government organisations, including Corrective Services, Child and Youth Mental Health Services, Education Department, Adult Community Mental Health Services, and various private settings.
Michael works with clients aged 8 years and above and is available to support clients on Fridays and Saturdays. He offers in-person and telehealth appointments (where appropriate).
Christian Ceccon

Christian is a Provisional Psychologist who completed his Bachelor of Psychological Science with First Class Honours at the University of Adelaide. Christian is registered as a Provisional Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia. He is currently working towards completing a Masters of Psychology (Clinical) through the University of Adelaide. A few of his favourite things include hiking, cycling, reading a great novel or spending time with his partner and their cat.
As a dedicated provisional psychologist specialising in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), Christian’s passion lies in utilising evidence-based CBT techniques to support individuals in their journey towards improved mental well-being. Christian has worked with clients experiencing a range of different emotional, cognitive, and social difficulties, such as:

Christian recognises the utmost importance of building a strong therapeutic alliance and delivering client-centred care. Divya Nair

Divya is a Clinical Psychologist with a decade’s experience working in the public health service primarily in community mental health and rehabilitation.
Divya has extensive experience in working with individuals with mood and anxiety-based presentations, psychiatric conditions, BPD, chronic health conditions including chronic pain, traumatic experiences and adjustment to significant life events.
Divya has also supervised several psychologists and is committed towards accessing professional development and supervision for her own practice.
Divya focuses on building a strong therapeutic relationship and creating a safe and non-judgemental space for her clients and tailors the session by using a collaborative approach. Divya primarily draws on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Transformational Chairwork.
Katelyn O'Loughlin

Katelyn is a Registered Psychologist who believes in developing a strong therapeutic relationship and utilises a warm, holistic, strengths-based approach. She is committed to delivering a supportive and tailored approach to each individual and aims to create a therapeutic space that is collaborative and encourages personal growth and change for her clients.
Katelyn enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adult clients. She strives to support her clients to build awareness and skills in addressing their mental health challenges. These include depression, anxiety, work and life stressors, grief, adjustment difficulties, neurodevelopmental disabilities, and complex trauma. In addition, Katelyn also has experience in undertaking cognitive and functional capacity assessments.
Katelyn’s practice draws upon various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Mindfulness-based approaches. Katelyn is also experienced in the application of attachment theory and is trained in attachment-focused interventions.

Holly Denman

Holly is a registered psychologist who is passionate about providing care and support to young people and their families. She provides a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental approach to working collaborative with people through all stages of the mental health journey. Holly strongly believes that while she may have good understanding of mental health, each individual is unique and should feel in charge of their own recovery. As such, her approach is very open, gentle and focuses on supporting you to live the life you want.
Holly has worked within a specialised eating disorder clinic, as well as a psychologist in the Child, Youth, Mental Health Service (CYMHS) or known as Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) within South Australia. In these settings she has treated a variety of presentations including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, Eating Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and Borderline Personality Disorders. She has also provided therapeutic interventions focused around parent-child relational difficulties and attachment disorders. Holly also has expertise working with developmental disorders including Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, intellectual disabilities, and Autism.
Holly is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Risk management and safety planning, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma Informed Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Systemic Family Therapy and Family Based Therapy (FBT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E). Holly likes to work very closely with her clients to develop a treatment plan that best suits their specific therapeutic goals.
She is a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists inc (AAPi). She has a Bachelor degree (with Honours) and a Post-Graduation Diploma of Professional Psychology (Masters of Professional Psychology), both awarded from the University of Southern Queensland.

Dr Matthew Hartley is registered to practice psychology with the Psychology Board of Australia (PBA) and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Matthew has a combined PhD and Master of Psychology (Clinical) degree with the University of Adelaide, which focused on using mindfulness therapies to build regulation skills in children and adults with autism.
As a psychologist Matthew works with children and adults, using strength-based approaches to foster psychological flexibility. By focusing on clients’ inherent strengths, Matthew helps individuals navigate challenges, develop skills and coping strategies to build fulfilling, meaningful lives.
Matthew has experience working with a range of presentations including neurodiversity, psychosis, trauma, anxiety and depression. Matthew also has interests in supporting clients who’ve experienced religious or spiritual abuse, and anxiety resulting from the impacts of climate change.
Matthew collaborates with individuals or families to develop workable strategies to support the therapeutic process using a range of methods including cognitive behavioural and mindfulness-supported approaches.

Taylored Psychology offers competitive remuneration under a non-restrictive Licence Agreement. We can offer flexible consulting arrangements (single days/multiple days/after hours).
- We are looking for someone with:
Registration as a psychologist or mental health social worker - AHPRA registration (for psychologist) and Medicare Provider Number eligibility
- Professional and public indemnity insurance
- Current South Australian Working With Children Check
- Strong skills in providing CBT and other evidence-based therapeutic interventions (e.g. DBT, ACT, Schema Therapy)
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Friendly, warm personality with an ability to build strong rapport with clients and colleagues
- Access to their own lap top computer
The following would also be valuable, but not essential:
- Experience in and preparedness to work with couples
- Experience providing tele-therapy
- Endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist
Early career clinicians are encouraged to apply, and supervision can be provided for psychology CPD requirements and those wanting to obtain clinical or forensic areas of practice endorsement.
